Access Day at the de Young Museum

In the first exhibition at the Fine Arts Museums dedicated to the work of Paul Gauguin (1848–1903), an exceptional display of more than fifty Gauguin paintings, wood carvings, and ceramics from the renowned collections of the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Copenhagen, will be on view for the first time in San Francisco.

We are delighted that NEXT has 10 tickets to see Goghin: A Spiritual Journey at 1:30pm. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour time, so we may begin on time. We will provide you with the following requested accommodations: 4 wheelchairs and Assistive Listening Devices for all 10 people. Please wear no fragrances. We will be closing the exhibition at 3:00pm.
In addition to the exhibition, the bathrooms and exhibition store will be open, but the rest of the de Young Museum will be closed. The enclosed map should help answer questions about transportation and entering the Museum.
Entering the Museum: The main entrance will not be open. Please use the Education door near the tower or the entrance from the garage (see map attached). Museum staff and volunteers will direct you to the check in table.
Parking at the Museum: There are additional placard parking spaces on John F. Kennedy Drive and in the parking garage (see map attached).
We will not be printing tickets, so you must check in. You can borrow a wheelchair at either entrance and a folding stool at the garage entrance.
